Crafty Ideas from CHA...

Just got back from Chicago CHA conference...

Here's a look at some ideas from the Craft World..

Claudine Hellmuth has this great "sticky back canvas"...she prints on it....

Claudine also has an amazing line of paints for her canvas.....look at this awesome pillow....

Again she uses the sticky back canvas.....

Canvas FLOWERS!!!!! Yes...

OK...have to make some of these canvas flowers....and I just found out about "Glubers"...yes thats the name...you can roll your fabric onto this adhesive to make flowers....there is a sample at the store....and you can buy them today!!!! It is so easy.....

Claudines' Challenge....

Last post for Claudine....great challenge piece....she used her canvas and paints, along with book pages to create this great looking garment....enjoy....hope you are "inspired"....

"Farmhouse Romance"

So here it is....my apron that was inspired from the current issue of Apronology. Thanks to sweet magnolia farm......she had wonderful samples....I have so many antique linens that I will be making more aprons....

Currently in the newstand.....check it out...this issue has some great apron ideas....lots of vintage samples....and I have been wanting to make an apron from my antique linens...

Here is the book!!! Check it out if you have a chance. India Flint does natural dying with plants that are native to where you live. You will be amazed at the colors you can get from your own backyard!
