I made lavender sache' for all the girls that I worked with @ Marion's this holiday season....the book had the idea....and I used some vintage linens that I have been saving. The linen works very well with it's open weave to let the scent escape. The little bird applique was made from the fabric "brighton" bags, that all the jewelry comes in. Then just added a little hand embroidery for the tree branch.....looks very "anthropologie"...
I have lived in the Midwest all my life until coming to St. Petersburg in 2000 to return to my husbands’ home state. We have 2 great boys and one “wacky” Wheaton terrier.
My degree is from Northern Illinois University in Textiles and Clothing. I enjoy sharing my passion for fabrics with everyone.
